The Hunt for the Treasure Fleet is a multi-part quest in "Pirates and Traders".

=== Starting the Quest ===

The quest start is found in the tavern (looking for trouble).

The prerequisite for starting the quest is that your character has at least five years of experience, so don't even worry about looking for this until 1665 at the earliest.

In addition, you will only receive the quest in a country that (sort of) trusts you, meaning that you must hold a letter of marque with that country.

The quest start is random, so there is no guarantee that you will see this quest immediately. Visit the tavern repeatedly (travel between different friendly ports to "refresh" the quests) if you are very eager to get the mission started.

=== Tips and Hints ===

* During the quest, you will purchase a number of sea rutters. You need a specific number of these to be able to pinpoint the treasure fleet precisely.
* You can turn down any mission right at the beginning without any ill effects. So if you're not quite ready to start a mission, you can always delay the mission by refusing. If you want to block the mission from ever appearing again, you can also do that.
* The final mission will have you face some of the most powerful ships in the Carribean. Do not - I repeat - do '''NOT''' attempt the final mission until you have the best possible ship you can imagine, have a veteran crew and a very experienced captain. You will only have one chance at this - try to make it count.
